In this sermon, Missions Pastor Nathan Cook dives into the biblical call to holiness and its transformative impact on our lives as Christians. Reflecting on 1 Thessalonians 4:1-12, he shares the Apostle Paul's exhortation to pursue sanctification, especially in areas like sexuality and our understanding of our bodies as temples of the Holy Spirit. Holiness is not just about personal purity—it's about aligning our lives with God's will, which radically shapes our relationships, including marriage, and our role in the community.

Nathan also reflects on how society's views on freedom and personal choice often contrast with God's call for purity, especially in light of cultural norms. Drawing from the teachings of Tim Keller, he examines the biblical framework for marriage, where both partners submit in love, modeling Christ’s relationship with the Church.

This sermon also emphasizes the role of scriptural holiness in our mission work and service to others. With 34 ministry partners in our community, Nathan shares how we extend God's love through acts of justice and compassion, living out the transformative power of holiness.

Tune in as we challenge ourselves to embrace a lifestyle of holiness that not only honors God but also impacts the world around us.
